Iron Chef America champ Katsuya Fukushima teams up with San Francisco Chronicle Rising Star Chef (and Txoko co-owner) Ian Begg to meet the challenge to discover “50 Ways to Love Olive Oil from Spain” at Txoko, the city’s newest tapas restaurant.
We promise you’ll leave knowing your arbequina from your picual, with some hojiblanca and cornicabra thrown in for good measure.
- Demos by chef Fukushima (including olive oil bon bons and “liquid” olives)
- Tapas by chef Begg
- Wines by Bodegas Riojanas, Freixenet, and Tapeña
- Pure Ibérico de bellota pork by Ibérico Fresco

All you need to do is forward today’s tablehopper newsletter to one friend (but even more would be so very fabulous), and add a note to your friend(s) about the event.
