John McEnroe, the professional tennis player, dined at Foreign Cinema on Thursday evening. He was dining with his daughter Emily, a student at USF. McEnroe was in town to play Andre Agassi in San Jose on Friday.
They had quite the feast: calamari plancha style, raclette baked with chicory and autumn fruit, harira soup with parsnips, kale Caesar salad, and the famous fried chicken. They also enjoyed the apple napoleon and pumpkin chèvre cheesecake for dessert. After their meal, McEnroe asked chef Gayle Pirie to “pray for him” at his upcoming match.
