Scorpion Season Brings Drake to SF
October 30, 2018
After performing two of three nights at Oracle Arena for his world tour, Drake hung out post-show Saturday and Sunday at FIFTH ARROW in Union Square, the bowling alley, bar, and restaurant adjoining August Hall. Bowling and playing Pop-A-Shot were the reported highlights.
Drake was also spotted dining at WATERBAR Sunday night with a crew of seven. They dined on the imperial shellfish platter, salads, the jumbo prawn platter, steaks, and pasta dishes, along with some pinot grigio and Don Julio 1942.
International Smokin'

Last week’s opening of International Smoke at Mina Test Kitchen was obviously star-studded, since the project is a collaboration with Ayesha Curry. Also in the house: Stephen Curry and Drake! There’s a fun pic on chef Adam Sobel’s Instagram here. Good luck getting a seat at this pop-up!

By Dana Eastland. Champagne Papi, as we like to call Drake around here (because of course), has been spending even more days in the East…Bay, that is. This time, he was at Brown Sugar Kitchen the day after Christmas, and even stopped to snap a photo with chef-owner Tanya Holland.
If You're Eating This It's Too Late

By Dana Eastland. Nothing was the same for roasted chicken last week, apparently, because none other than hip-hop artist Drake was spotted at Zuni Café on Wednesday night. He was in the company of five bodyguards, natch.
Then, on Thursday night, the Canadian partook of a highly American activity: postgame burgers with Golden State Warrior Stephen Curry and his lovely wife, Ayesha Curry. Specifically, the trio proved what a time it is to be alive at the Alameda In-N-Out, where the boys ordered double-doubles animal style and Ayesha got her burger protein style. They were accompanied by a crew of 15, including bodyguards and friends, and Drake reportedly took over the intercom—perhaps to open his very own hotline burger? SFist has the full story on the burger date.

Just last night, chef Jeremy Fox tweeted: “Grabbing a late bite at Morimoto Napa, & sitting right across from Drake. Is that Lil Wayne walking in?” And the answer to that question is… No, there was no appearance by Lil Wayne, although that would have been mad cool.
