More Sightings of A-Rod and Derek Jeter on the Town

Last Tuesday, a tablehopper tipster spotted Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter lunching separately at Scala’s Bistro.
Later that evening, A-Rod came in to Ozumo San Francisco with a guest after the kitchen was already closed, but the staff sent out some salads and a huge plate of sashimi.

Meanwhile, Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod from the NY Yankees) was in for dinner at Twenty Five Lusk with five guests last night (Monday May 30th). Alex ate the NY strip steak (seems appropriate) with steamed vegetables, and they all shared salmon pastrami, tuna sashimi, and beef tartare. As for beverages, they drank iced teas and Diet Cokes. (How very restrained.)

Fellow friend-about-town, Liam Mayclem of Eye on the Bay, tweeted: “At St. Regis SF. ‘A Rod’ [Alex Rodriguez] in the house. Mayor Willie Brown at the bar. All the ladies in the house just got a little excited!!”

A-Rod (known on his birth certificate as Alex Rodriguez) had lunch at Scala’s Bistro yesterday with friends. He ordered shrimp Louis and the pappardelle pork sugo. He told the sous chef, “It’s always great here, that’s why I always come back.” Nice.
