The 12th annual charity event for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, WINE AND WISHES, is coming to Treasure Island on Saturday February 2nd. The event features two separate events: first is the Gourmet Food and Wine Tasting from 5pm-7:45pm. A variety of local restaurants and wineries will be offering wine tastings and food samples, including an oyster bar from Farallon and bites from A16, Masa’s, and EPIC Roasthouse. Tickets to the tasting are $150. 1 Avenue of the Palms at Pan American Esplanade, Treasure Island.
Then, at 8pm, you can take a seat at the Winery SF for a four-course winemaker dinner with wine pairings. The courses will be prepared by nine Bay Area chefs, including Roland Passot of La Folie, Suzette Gresham of Acquerello, and Mark Liberman of AQ. Tickets for the dinner begin at $500 per person and include tickets to the tasting event as well as access to the VIP area during the tasting. Matt Cain will be there, hanging out with the VIPs, so that’s pretty cool too. 200 California Ave. at Clipper, Bldg 180 North, Treasure Island.
