Easter Sunday is coming up fast on April 20th, so hop to it and make sure your day is a fabulous springtime celebration. And remember, this is definitely a Sunday to make reservations. OpenTable as usual has many choices, so be sure to check there too.
Brunch at ~FOREIGN CINEMA~ is always special, and Easter is no exception. Catch a three-course prix-fixe menu, with choices for each course. Cost is $65 per person, with a children’s menu for $20.
~QUINCE~ has a special four-course brunch menu on Easter, with Italian influences and lamb from Watson Farm; here’s the menu. The brunch costs $125 per person or $50 for children and is available from 11am-3:30pm.
Next door at ~COTOGNA~, the menu will be à la carte, with the traditional Italian torta pasqualina and other dishes. They’ll be open from 11:30am-2pm for brunch. In the evening, the menu will change gears and there will be a prix-fixe dinner menu for $65; check the menu here.
Brunch at ~SPRUCE~ promises to be fancy and delicious, with a three-course prix-fixe brunch for $58 per person. It’s available from 10:30am-2:30pm and here’s the menu.
~A16~ San Francisco and ~A16 ROCKRIDGE~ will be celebrating Easter both at brunch and dinner, with special dishes available in addition to their regular offerings. Look for regional Italian lamb dishes, as well as special desserts. Both restaurants will be open 11am-9pm, and will switch to the dinner menu at 4pm.
For a good time with kids, check out the celebrations at the MANDARIN ORIENTAL. There’s a brunch buffet from 10am-2pm, with a carving station and brunch cocktails. Then, at both 11am and 1pm, there’s an Easter egg hunt for kids, and a photographer will take photos with the Easter Bunny. Call for reservations. 222 Sansome St. at Pine, 415-276-9724.
