World of Wine

Now, there is no shortage of wine events in this town, but attend the ~WORLD OF WINE~ benefit and you’ll help support the Mission YMCA and its after school, day care, and summer camp programs for San Francisco’s inner city children. The World of Wine event will include wine tastings, artisan chocolates, tasty bites, tunes, auction lots, and an evening of cars at the headquarters of Mercedes-Benz of San Francisco. There will be wines from the Napa Valley mountain wineries of Mt. Veeder and Diamond Mountain, a tasting of how terroir influences chocolate from TCHO, opportunities to win exclusive wines or a wine country getaway, plus music and food.

Featured vineyards from the Mt. Veeder appellation (Napa Valley): Hess Collection, LaTour Vineyards, Marketta Vineyard & Winery (Chateau Potelle), Rubissow Wines, Yates Family Vineyard, and Vinoce; from the Diamond Mountain appellation: von Strasser Winery; and from the Sonoma Coast: Arnot-Roberts (syrah).
