That’s right, it’s springtime, and Mother’s Day is coming right up, on Sunday May 11th. Are you ready? Here are some nice things to do and places to go if you’re still figuring out what to do. And don’t forget to check OpenTable for a bunch more ideas.
~SPRUCE~ has a three-course prix-fixe brunch menu available, with lots of choices at each course. Oh, and the meal begins with freshly baked coffee cake, how fabulous. It’s $65 per person, and here’s the menu.
For an à la carte brunch menu, check out the options at ~BAKER & BANKER~, where Mom can choose from a selection of dishes including a Cajun-style eggs Benedict, a lobster omelet, or strawberry shortcake French toast. Here’s the menu.
The prix-fixe brunch menu at ~TWENTY FIVE LUSK~ offers three courses with choices, and a vegetarian menu is also available. The menu is $38 per person, and you can peek at the menu here.
~LOCANDA~ is also offering a special Mother’s Day brunch, with an à la carte menu. Look out for eggs in purgatory, cornmeal pancakes, and Berkshire pork sausages. There will also be special cocktails, sparkling wine, and mimosas. Reservations can be made here or by calling 415-863-6800.
Check out ~1760~, where they’ll be serving a special à la carte brunch from 11:30am-3pm, including some Mom-friendly dishes. There will also be some brunch cocktails, like a green strawberry Bloody Mary.
Edible Excursions are a fun way to get out and about with Mom, while still enjoying some delicious goodies. They have two special Mother’s Day tours, The Ferry Building Tour in San Francisco or a Gourmet Ghetto Tour in Berkeley, in addition to their regularly scheduled weekend tours on both Saturday and Sunday. Check here for all the options.
Still not sure what to do? The ‘hopper was on KRON4 last weekend talking about some of the great places around the bay for brunch, so check it out for some additional fab brunch locations.
