On Thursday November 7th, ~FOREIGN CINEMA~ is throwing a big throwback party with Jeremiah Tower of Stars. Tower and Foreign Cinema owners Gayle Pirie and John Clark will be re-creating a Stars menu from 1989, all available à la carte. Look for dishes like Tuscan-style beef tartare, double-loin pork chop, and poached sea scallops. Classic Stars cocktails will also be available, in addition to wines selected to pair well with the dishes. And there will be Champagne, natch.
Special guest chefs and friends will also be on hand, to celebrate the San Francisco icon. Look for folks like Dominique Crenn, Loretta Keller, and Bruce Hill, to name just a few. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit the James Beard Foundation. Reservations are available between 6pm and 10pm; call 415-648-7600.
