Are you ready for Passover? It starts at sundown on Monday April 14th, and goes until Tuesday April 22nd. If you’re planning a Seder for either the first or second night (or maybe another night), here are some options for both dining out or picking up. Please note that most of these places are offering a kosher-style Passover menu, but do not have kosher kitchens.

~DELFINA~ will serve Passover-inspired menu items from April 14th-21st, including lamb osso buco, Delfina’s edible Seder plate, salt cod croquettes, brisket, and the Stoll family matzo ball soup with walnut-centered matzo balls (for the story behind this soup and a recipe, head here). Their matzo is freshly baked by Beauty’s Bagel Shop, and they’ll have kosher wine as well as beer from He’Brew.

SHORTY GOLDSTEIN’S is offering a special menu for pickup the week of Passover. It comes with an arugula and charoset salad, gefilte fish, and matzo ball soup, along with a choice of entrées like brisket, chicken, or stuffed cabbage; here’s the menu. It costs $65 per person, and you can place your order before April 11th for pickup the week of Passover. 126 Sutter St. at Montgomery, 415-986-2676.

For the sixth year, ~PERBACCO~ is hosting their annual Italian Passover dinner, this time for two nights in a row. Chef-owner Staffan Terje and owner Umberto Gibin will be joined by special guest chef Joyce Goldstein, whose book Cucina Ebraica inspired the four-course menu that includes dishes like brodo con polpette e uova per pesach (Passover soup with chicken dumplings and eggs); stuffato d’agnello (lamb stew with green garlic); and pan di spagna alle nocciole (Passover hazelnut sponge cake). Wednesday April 16th and Thursday April 17th. $52 per person.

On Monday April 14th, ~BAKER & BANKER~ is offering a three-course Passover prix-fixe. On the menu is matzo ball soup, braised brisket with spring vegetables, and chocolate truffle cake for dessert. Dinner is $55 per person.

BAY WOLF in Oakland will be serving a special last night of Passover menu on Monday April 21st. The menu is prix-fixe for $35, with matzo ball soup, roast lamb, and charoset with matzo. The regular menu will also be available. Call for reservations, and be sure to specify that you’d like the Passover menu. 3853 Piedmont Ave. at Rio Vista, 510-655-6004.
