OK, this dinner is not only a doozy of a dining experience on its own; it’s also a benefit for the ongoing Hurricane Sandy relief effort. On Monday December 3rd, chefs Corey Lee (Benu), Christopher Kostow (Meadowood), Evan Rich (Rich Table), Chris L’Hommedieu (Prospect), and Bill Corbett (Absinthe) will be joining Daniel Patterson to cook a seven-course meal together at ~COI~. Each chef will prepare one of the courses, plus a dessert course from COI’s pastry chef, Matt Tinder. The dinner includes wine pairings as well, and all proceeds will benefit hurricane relief.
There is also a silent auction for some pretty great dinners, and anyone can bid. Check out details here. The dinner costs $250 per person, and includes food, wine, and tip. Reservations can be made be calling the restaurant, or through the website. For more specific information on the organizations receiving aid and how they were selected, go here.
Don’t forget you can also eat out for Hurricane Sandy relief at the SF Chefs Dinner Party Project dinners. Kudos to all the restaurants and businesses creating such delicious ways to help out.
