The number of new bakery projects just keeps on churning! Due to open in the Lower Nob Hill in spring 2013 will be FLOUR + CO, from Emily Day (she was most recently the director of operations for La Boulange from 2005-2011). It will be a modern American bakery featuring classic baked goods—from savory to sweet—but with “ingredients making the statement.” There will be coffee service, plus a simple breakfast and lunch menu.
