Coming up on Tuesday November 5th is Bubbles and Caviar, a PlumpJack Wine & Spirits pop-up at MATRIXFILLMORE, which is closed on Tuesdays (which is why I feel okay recommending this event). You’ll be able to taste a selection of bubbly (consider this research for your holiday selections!), and Plaza de Caviar will be there serving up a variety of caviar. The wine prices will range from $7-$40 for a 4-ounce pour of six to eight different sparklers from around the world. There will be five different caviars to choose from in 1-ounce portions ($15-$100 for a 1-ounce jar); prices will include all of the caviar condiments. 5:30pm-8:30pm. 3138 Fillmore St. at Greenwich.
Also on Tuesday November 5th, Allen Katz and the New York Distilling Company will be at ~FIFTH FLOOR~ for a special dinner. Chef David Bazirgan is creating a four-course tasting menu, paired with a cocktail by bar manager Brian Means, each featuring a spirit from New York Distilling Company. $95 (plus tax and gratuity). Reservations are recommended.
