End of an Era for The Attic

At the end of last year, word was out that one of the Mission’s great dive bars, the usually packed and very loud THE ATTIC was going to be closing, and now The Bold Italic confirms that owner Roger Howell has closed the bar (you may recognize his name from our Gashead Tavern post from last week—he’s also a co-owner of Murio’s Trophy Room in the Haight).
