The Bay Area’s own ST. GEORGE SPIRITS is celebrating its thirtieth year of distilling artisanal spirits for your imbibing pleasure. Raise a glass to three fabulous decades at the anniversary party, called 30 Years Under the Influence, on Friday November 30th. The event will take place at the distillery and includes a whole bunch of activities. First, you’ll arrive at the distillery at 7pm and take a tour. Then, at 8:30pm, sit down for a panel discussion hosted by the Commonwealth Club, which includes St. George heavy hitters Jörg Rupf (founder), Lance Winters (master distiller), and Dave Smith (distiller). Bob Klein of Oliveto will moderate the discussion.
Then, at 9:30pm, the partying begins. There will be three cocktails, each inspired by a decade of business, plus hors d’oeuvres to keep you upright. Oh, and there will be tacos by Tango & Stache. Tickets are $60 for Commonwealth Club members and $75 for the general public. Cheers! 2601 Monarch St. at Avenue A, Alameda, 510-769-1601.
