Let's eat. Seriously. (And save money on tickets!)
We would like to invite all of you to La Cocina’s San Francisco Street Food Festival, which is just a few short weeks away. This year’s event will be bigger, better, and tastier than you can even imagine. Seriously. It’s what happens when nearly 100 owner-operated businesses from the Bay Area and beyond get together, cook their brains out, and have fun doing it. Why wouldn’t you want to be there? And we’ve even got tablehopper promo codes. Hop to it!
Friday August 17th from 6pm-9pm we’ll be hosting our first ever Night Market at Alemany Market. Think about 27 vendors like Javier Plascencia from Tijuana and Anda Piroshki and Bar Jules. Think about four whole hogs and a Ryan Farr and Matt Jennings sandwich guaranteed (by them) to blow your mind. Think about coming. It’s limited access, so get on it and buy your tickets here (only $20 instead of $25 if you use the promo code: tablehopper).
Saturday August 18th from 11am-7pm is the big enchilada (or burger or onigiri or whatever you choose, really). We’ve got 85 owner-operated vendors participating this year, each one trying to outcook the next. Free to enter, but you can buy a passport to a) not worry about having cash, b) support La Cocina, and c) get all the extra shwag you’re likely to want anyways. Passports are easy to share, too, so makes for a good group outing. Passports are for sale here.
Sunday August 19th and Monday the 20th we are hosting our third annual Food & Entrepreneurship Conference. Start Sunday right with a Peanut Butter for Breakfast Brunch featuring seven chefs (including James Beard Award nominee Matt Jennings and Michelin Star recipient Suvir Saran) plus bottomless mimosas and De La Paz Coffee. Tickets can be purchased here. (Please note the tickets are normally $75 but they are $50 with the tablehopper promo code!)
