Hey everyone! I hope and imagine you’re enjoying this gorgeous weather! Go play hooky, seriously. And if you have the time to drive up to Tomales for the second crab tailgate party this Saturday at the William Tell House, DO IT. It’s so much fun—you can hang out in the neighboring park and enjoy the sun and fresh air while you crack freshly caught crab and drink bubbles and beer. My friend and I went last Saturday, and it was a dream Northern California kind of day—so good to get out of town. Bring your chair and a makeshift table and they take care of all the rest (don’t forget your sunscreen and a hat)! Tickets for Feb 12th are still available and there are two “seatings” (11:30am and 2:30pm).
You’re probably wondering why you’re receiving a tablehopper issue this week, and this is just a quick request and reminder to please fill out the tablehopper survey I posted about last week! I would so appreciate your input. Over the past six weeks, I’ve been hard at work on brainstorming and researching and fine-tuning some upcoming changes to the tablehopper newsletter, which is turning sweet sixteen this month! I’m super-excited about what’s coming, but a huge part of what makes tablehopper what it is is YOU. You’re an incredible community of supporters and longtime readers, and I would greatly value your input in this process.
Please use the same email you already use to subscribe to tablehopper, and I need to have everyone’s answers by Monday February 14th! Some of the questions are a little personal, but please know your details will remain confidential—I’m really just going to be looking at the aggregate data. Here’s the survey.
As a token of my appreciation, I’ll be mailing out a tablehopper vintage SF t-shirt (your choice!) to two randomly chosen star readers who filled out the survey by February 14th! Thank you!
Okay gang, that’s it from me! Happy (upcoming) Valentine’s Day! You can check out my Instagram highlight for fun ideas on special Valentine dinners, takeout, tasty chocolates, and treats! No partner needed—just enjoy yourself!
Mwah! BIG XO! ~Marcia
