Howdy! It’s another sunny day in SF…here’s wishing you a happy Mardi Gras! [throwing beads at you] I’m so looking forward to celebrating tablehopper’s 14th birthday with you at the soon-to-open Lily this Friday evening, with a glass of Champagne Henriot in hand!

Tickets are sold out and the waiting list is long (thanks, everyone!), but here’s another idea: why don’t you come hang out with me next Wednesday at the Oregon Wine Trail SF event (and join me for dinner at Local Kitchen after the tasting)? Take a look at the details below in the sponsor! You can taste 200 Oregon wines for $65, who loves you? (Only tablehopper readers get this deal!) If you invite friends to get tickets with you, they cost even less! Posse up!

More specials! My pal Broke-Ass Stuart just launched The Delicious Card, offering great deals at 30-plus restaurants around SF, and it’s in support of his Patreon campaign! Help keep us independent publications going (and support local restaurants while doing it). You da best.

Big big thanks to chef Gigi Gaggero, who invited me to be a guest on Chef Gigi Food Talk Radio this past Sunday on KSCU! Her intro was so nice and over-the-top that cohost Melissa Smith (Enotrias) laughed at how much I was blushing (I can’t even listen to the recording of the show, I’ll have to pull an Adam Driver and walk away, LOL). We had a whirlwind chat about my path to writing and how tablehopper got started, and we also talked about mymilligram, my favorite cannabis food products, and more. Gigi also put together a really fun playlist for the show. What a hostess with the mostess, thanks for having me on. I also loved having an excuse to go track down some South Indian cuisine for dinner after the show—Santa Clara, you’ve got it goin’ on.

Have a swell week, and I hope to see you at Oregon Wine Trail next Wednesday! XO! Marcia Gagliardi
