Hey there. So attention Comcast readers: it looks like your issue of tablehopper got blocked last week, so if you want to catch up, you can read it in the archive here.
Speaking of last week’s issue, where I wrote up Modern Tea, the kind folks who work there wanted to let you know they are closed the first two weeks of January. So if you are fired up to try the lemon buttermilk pudding cake, please note there will be no cake for you while they are closed, from December 30–January 16.
Speaking of holiday closures, there won’t be a tablehopper next Tuesday, which lands on Christmas Day. As a good Italian-American, I will be too busy eating and drinking with my cute family (My Big Fat Italian Natale?). And since the Tuesday following is New Year’s Day, I will be sending an abridged column that day (which will obviously be written waaaaaay in advance of the actual day). Which means this is the last tablehopper issue of 2007!
Have a lovely holiday, keep toasty (and toasted), and thanks for all the support and enthusiasm this year! See ya in 2008—looking forward to more culinary and cocktail shenanigans!
Affectionately,
~Marcia
