Hey gang! I hope you had an extra-fab Fourth (mine was!). I’m looking forward to getting back out of the fog this weekend, and heading up to Healdsburg for a pool party (yay!) and visiting my friend in Gualala (my first time there, and yay again). Can’t wait for a leisurely drive home on Sunday, and getting in some beach time (I’m planning to hang out in Sea Ranch or maybe Fort Ross). Feel free to send any tips my way, thanks!
This week’s news has a bunch of openings—if you follow me on @tablehopper, you’ve already seen AL’s Deli and Square Pie Guys pics, and I’m going to be posting a couple awesome brunch stops I made over the weekend: B-Side Brunch and Hermanita, stand by (the tostada pic included here is just a teaser!). I also had such a soulful, Singaporean/Indonesian meal at Local Kitchen, thanks to talented chef Nora Haron—you want to add it to your list.
If you’re canna-curious, or a full-time toker, you’ll want to read my recent piece for Nob Hill Gazette on the higher end of “elevated” dining in SF! There are some entertaining dinner parties happening out there, let me tell you.
And I’m just going to put this out there, because you guys are like a magic crystal ball: if you know anyone selling one Stereolab ticket for face value at Bimbo’s on Saturday October 19th, please let me know! That would be so amazing. Thank you!
OK, I’m tired of writing, let’s get to it!
XO! Marcia Gagliardi
