Howdy, pals. I’m running a little late today—someone got lucky with an appointment for Fortuna’s first check-in with an SF vet (SF Pet Hospital), but of course it was right at my deadline, ha! (It’s so tough to get any appointments for new pet clients right now, so of course I said, “Yes, please.”) And thanks for asking, kitty puss is great and healthy. Meow.
While everyone was roasting in the city this past weekend, I was up in the redwoods in Navarro for Meadowlands, which I jokingly call cannabis camp (but it’s true!). It was incredible to reconnect with so many folks in the cannabis community I haven’t seen in 18 months, and being able to gather outside in such an idyllic setting was pretty epic. I’ll be writing up a recap over at mymilligram.com very soon!
Did you ever make it to my mega garage sales I held to fund my trip to Croatia? A bunch of you came by, thank you again SO much, but I know some of you weren’t able to swing it, so you should be excited to know I’m hosting another garage sale this Sunday October 10th from 10am-3pm (at 555 Broderick St. at Grove). I’ll have fall coats, vintage dresses (40s, 50s, 60s, 70s), Burning Man and funky looks, jewelry, hats, and accessories. Joining me is my fellow vintage-lovin’ soul sister, Christine Farren of CUESA, who is going to be bringing some great vintage frocks (she has such fab style), accessories, shoes, and housewares. We’ll have refreshments, tunes, and there’s always a fun scene of folks passing through. Come by on your way to or from Fleet Week festivities. We’d love to see you. Compliments await.
