Charles Phan is never short on projects. First, his upcoming restaurant at Pier 3 now has a name: HARD WATER, which ties in to the whiskey theme of the project. He hopes to open in December, according to the Scoop.
Phan will also be involved in opening a café/restaurant and bar in the SFJAZZ CENTER that’s opening in Hayes Valley in January. Look for an all-day menu and quality cocktails, and the Scoop adds that the space will be open to the public. Corner of Franklin and Fell.
Lastly, Phan’s restaurants seem to have a bad history of flooding: Out the Door in Westfield Centre remains closed due to a second flood, and now ~HEAVEN’S DOG~ in SoMa is closed due to a pipe backup. Scoop reports he hopes to reopen Heaven’s Dog by Friday November 9th.
