As previously reported on tablehopper, Shane LaValley and James Moisey of Broken Record have struck out on their own and are opening a new spot in the Lower Haight. It’s called RICKYBOBBY, and they’ll be opening their doors Wednesday December 12th (yeah, that’s 12-12-12) at 5:30pm. Haighteration has lots of details, but the bottom line is you can expect well-prepared American comfort food, beer and wine, and a fancy, or “Baller,” rotating weekly special. Their beer and wine license is on its way, so for now it’s iced tea, sodas, and BYOB. They’re open Sun-Thu 6pm-11pm, Fri-Sat 6pm-12am. 400 Haight St. at Webster.
