Due to open Wednesday March 6th is Charles Phan’s all-day restaurant/café, SOUTH at SFJAZZ. The menu of small plates is Southern-influenced and meant to be casual (and quick, since people will primarily be there for performances), like baked oyster ($3); wedge salad with blue cheese, lardons, buttermilk ($10); duck rillettes, watermelon rind pickle, Creole mustard ($13); chive calas, pepper jelly ($8); and alligator sausage, peppers, and caramelized onion ($13).
