Hoss Zaré, the chef and proprietor of ~ZARÉ AT FLY TRAP~, has decided to make a few changes at the restaurant, including the name. Zaré, who took over the former Fly Trap space in 2008 (he started working there in 1988, before venturing out on his own), has changed the name back to ~THE FLY TRAP~, for starters. He has also brought bar manager Valen West on as an owner (she’s been there since 2008). The food won’t drastically change, with a seasonal California menu influenced by Zaré’s Persian heritage, and of course Zaré’s famous Hoss-pitality isn’t going anywhere.
