Last Wednesday I got a call from Chuck Siegel of CHARLES CHOCOLATES saying that after a long hunt, he found a kitchen and retail space on Florida Street, previously the Potrero Brewing Co. (It’s also across the street from the upcoming Heath Ceramics location.) He’s hoping to have everything up and running with the kitchen by September 1st, and he mentioned he will then open the retail space and café a month later. 535 Florida St. at Mariposa.
