“the tablehopper” is a weekly email newsletter of San Francisco restaurant reviews, news, gossip, and goings-on written by yours truly, Marcia (rhymes with Garcia) Gagliardi.

Get me on the list!

The tablehopper e-column is sent each Tuesday, and includes the scoop on which chef is going where, what is opening or closing or finally remodeling, preview reviews of places that are about to or have just opened, as well as reviews of established places I think are a hidden gem, or maybe it’s just a place I’ve always been curious about.

I’m big on scouting restaurants that are doing unique things, like where to find the top prix-fixe deals in town (I have always loved South Park Café’s), and sharing insider info (yay, secret menu items!). There will also be announcements about food and wine events, like winemaker dinners or special tastings, plus new bar news, getaway ideas, book reviews, and special guest columns from wine and and spirits professionals.

And, yay, tablehopper is free, which means more going-out money for you.

Check out the latest one.

Please note tablehopper will occasionally send out sponsored emails that are, you guessed it, paid for by generous sponsors. These emails will always say “sponsored email” in the subject line. If you don’t wish to receive these (sporadic) sponsored emails, you can subscribe to the tablehopper RSS feed, or set up a email rule with your mail program. Otherwise, you can unsubscribe from tablehopper, but please note you won’t receive the tablehopper newsletter anymore either.

Sponsors don’t and never will have access to your email address and personal information. That would be evil.

To receive “the tablehopper” please fill out this brief questionnaire and then click [Subscribe].
