Now open on the Marina Green is the DYNAMO DONUT AND COFFEE kiosk that I mentioned awhile back. You can now swing by for donuts and Four Barrel Coffee after going for a run—and enjoy a gorgeous view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Hours are Tue-Sat 8am-4pm and Sun 9am-4pm. The location is 110 Yacht Rd., just off Baker Street at Marina Boulevard on the Marina Green (in front of the St. Francis Yacht Club).
Meanwhile, Tasting Table announces that WRECKING BALL COFFEE has opened in Firehouse 8 in Russian Hill, serving coffee daily. The founders, Nick Cho and Trish Rothgeb, are not only serving their own third-wave coffee, but Rothgeb is reportedly the one who invented the phrase! You can either try their espresso blend or go with a pour-over (you can opt for a slow or quick brew—depends on how much time you have). 1648 Pacific Ave. at Polk.
